Tropical Pacific Drifting Buoys

JUNE 2021

During June 2021, 197 satellite-tracked surface drifting buoys were reporting from the tropical Pacific. The anomalies seen in May were no longer clearly resolved by the array, although a few drifters suggested that westward anomalies persisted at 130-160W, 6-10N and 3-4S.
